Got a response from iTunes regarding this post. They said they can't change the system requirements, so I'm SOL. They'll refund my purchase if I want. So lucky me, no more freaking Supernatural until it comes out on DVD. Bastards. Perhaps they can't change the system requirements for the NEWEST iTunes, but I'm sorry, I happen to think that downloads should be backwards compatible. It's BULLSHIT that I need the newest iTunes version in order to run a video. Particularly as they 1) gave no warning that this change was coming, and 2) all my other videos PLAY just fine in iTunes.

Grrr.

I've been playing with layouts on my LJ all day, we'll see if I'm satisfied with it yet. I also have a new mood theme with Dr. Spencer Reid. Yummeh.

1. It's Snupin. Doesn't matter if I'm trying to write gen, Snupin will still creep in.

2. Remus will have facial hair. For some reason that's become a big thing with me lately.

3. It's over 20k. LOL I can't seem to write anything short anymore.

4. A shower is involved in some fashion. I have an abiding love for showers, whether it's in a sex scene or just a hurt/comfort scene.

5. Remus wears reading glasses. There's something very sexy about a man in glasses, and if he's looking at Severus over the tops of those glasses...rowr.

6. One of them has a long-standing desire for the other. Might be Severus, might be Remus, might be both of them, actually, but if I'm writing fics set during the canon years, I like fics where their 25-year history comes into play.

7. Happy ending.

I wish I knew who made this, but I've had it for much longer than I've known how to credit icons, I think. I've deleted it from my icons a couple of times, but it always comes back. I call this pink handgun even though the gun isn't pink at all. I guess to me it's just a very badass icon, and the hot pink adds a flair of woman without making it feminine. So to me this icon says "kickass woman". And if you know who made it, please let me know.



LOL thesnapelyone made this icon. It's from Recoil's spoken-song "Want". There's something awesome and dark and creepy and chilling and yet easy-to-identify-with about this song. Nori also made an icon from the line "I want to keep you alive so there is always the possibility of murder later". These are both great lines, but I have another icon about burning, so I had to pick this one.

I borrowed that movie years ago from gonzothegreat (back when we were dating, so, like, four years? yikes) and I absolutely loved this piece. And her face there--the joy and jubilation on her face--it's just gorgeous. Like she's been given everything she's ever hoped for.



Also by abrynne. Michael Keaton in Much Ado About Nothing. A fabulous play, though I confess, I usually hate the low-comedy portions of Shakespeare's plays. But the "I am an ass" sequence is too funny! And there are times when I need an icon that states that I am an ass.




Made by me. It was inkgeist who first called me a 'badass rock star by day and a fierce pirate by night'. I liked it so much that I appropriated it as my name, and then when I dressed as a pirate last year, I decided it must also be iconized.
